Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Amazon Review Analyzer (“the Extension”, “we”) handles information when you use the Chrome extension. Contact: happyjwdev@gmail.com.
1. Summary
- Amazon review content is stored only on your device (IndexedDB).
- We never upload your Amazon cookies or session credentials.
- AI analysis sends selected review text (and product metadata) through our proxy to a language model.
- Account, quotas, payments, and marketplace votes use cloud services (Supabase, Google, Paddle).
2. Data stored on your device
The Extension may store locally:
- Scrape jobs, product metadata, reviews, AI reports
- Preferences (theme, scrape method)
- An anonymous install identifier for local features
You can delete local tasks/reviews/reports anytime via Settings → Clear local data. Uninstalling the Extension also removes its local storage.
3. Account & authentication
Sign-in uses Google OAuth via Chrome Identity, then creates a session with our backend (Supabase Auth). We receive basic account identifiers needed for authentication and quota (e.g. user id, email as provided by Google/Supabase).
4. Cloud processing
When signed in, the following may be sent to our servers (Supabase Edge Functions):
- Usage / quota: scrape, export, and AI usage counters
- Marketplace votes: which unsupported Amazon site you requested
- License redemption: license codes you enter
- AI analysis: sampled review text and product fields needed for summaries

ai-proxyto a third-party LLM provider) - Account deletion: request to erase your cloud account rows
We do not operate a permanent database of scraped Amazon reviews for advertising or resale.
5. Payments
Paid plans are processed by Paddle (Merchant of Record). Checkout opens in a separate tab. Paddle and its payment processors handle payment details under their own policies. We receive subscription/status events via webhook to unlock Pro features. See also our Pricing, Terms of Service, and Refund Policy.
6. Third-party services
- Google (OAuth)
- Supabase (auth, database, edge functions)
- Paddle (checkout / subscriptions)
- LLM provider used by our AI proxy (review text for analysis only)
- Amazon.com / Amazon.sg pages you browse (scraping runs in your browser tab session)
7. Your choices
- Clear local data in Settings (device storage)
- Delete account in Settings (cloud account + local scrape data)
- Sign out anytime; unpaid/optional AI features simply will not run without login where required
8. Children
The Extension is not directed to children under 13. Do not use it if you are under the applicable age in your region.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date above will change when we do. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
